The work of FMAS centers around the representation of the interests of its members as well as government partners and other relevant institutions. Partnering with FMAS allows one a platform for advocacy and a collective voice towards issues that impact micro-businesses in the heartlands.

FMAS is a thought leader of insights and trends that impact the heartlands business community and its other relevant stakeholders. Through collaboration, partners are able to gain valuable insights that can form their strategies and help them stay ahead of the competition.

FMA organizes a wide range of regular national-level events and activities such as the Singapore Heartland Enterprise Summit, The Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Award and The Singapore Hawkers seminars, and conferences and hence providing a platform for businesses to connect with industry leaders, potential partners, and prospective customers.
