COVID-19 Recovery Grant (Temporary) (CRG-T)

Dear Members,

We understand that stallholders in coffee shops and food courts have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. Self-employed stallholders who require assistance may wish to tap on the COVID-19 Recovery Grant (Temporary) (CRG-T) to tide over this difficult period. The deadline to apply for the CRG-T has been extended to 31 August 2021. The CRG-T provides a one-time payout of up to $500 to self-employed persons who are facing Net Trade Income (NTI) loss of at least 50% for at least one month, compared to their average monthly NTI in 2019 or 2020.

At the same time, the Food Delivery Booster Package will be extended to 18 August 2021 to support affected F&B businesses and food stall holders by defraying the business costs of going online. Eligible F&B establishments can also continue to benefit from the Jobs Support Scheme and the Rental Support Scheme.

We would appreciate it, if your merchant association could keep your members/stallholders who meet the eligibility criteria informed of the availability of the CRG-T, as well as the Food Delivery Booster Package. Attached are some infographics of the CRG-T and Food Delivery Booster Package for your dissemination and use as well. You may also refer to the attached FAQ should your members/stallholders require any clarification.

Here is a draft message which you may use to inform your members/stallholders:
