More than 650,000 households have claimed latest tranche of CDC vouchers
June 27, 2024At the Singapore Heartland Enterprise Summit on June 27, Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry, highlighted that over 650,000 Singaporean households had claimed the latest tranche of $300 CDC vouchers within two days. Currently, more than 23,000 hawkers and heartland merchants are enrolled in the CDC vouchers scheme. To foster innovation further, the Federation of Merchants’ Associations Singapore organises the Heartland Innovation Challenge (HIC). This initiative pairs businesses with tertiary student teams to develop innovative solutions for key challenges.

June 27, 2024在第九届新加坡邻里企业峰会上，贸工部兼文化、社区及青年部高级政务部长刘燕玲透露了邻里购物券的最新情况。政府宣布，两天内已有超过65万户家庭领取了第五轮每户300元的CDC购物券，占总数近一半。 今年峰会由新加坡全国商联总会主办，主题是“创意无限，飞跃新高”，参与的邻里商家和业者达到300家，比去年增加了30%。 刘燕玲鼓励邻里企业加强创新，以保持灵活性、与时俱进和竞争力。她强调政府与商联总会合作推出的新举措，包括今年推出的“邻里企业社区营造计划”，旨在鼓励邻里企业举办社区活动，带动邻里中心的人流，吸引更多居民前来消费。
